Our Housekeeping Cottages are supplied with modern equipment that is meticulously maintained to ensure your utmost comfort while vacationing at The Birches Resort.

Each cottage comes with:

  • Air Conditioning
  • A full size fridge, complete with freezer
  • Electric cook stove with oven
  • Microwave oven, toaster and electric kettle
  • Complete stainless steel pots and pans
  • A variety of kitchen utensils, dishes, serving bowls and cutlery
  • Outside Gas BBQ, picnic table, lawn chairs and camp fire pit
  • Carpeted, furnished bedrooms and living/dining area
  • A picture window with a lake view
  • 3 pc. bathroom with hot/cold water(shower)
  • Double beds (rent or supply blankets/linen)
  • Electric heater for those cool spring nights
  • We still include camp firewood for free

Fish The Upper-Buckhorn Lake

Clean your catch of fish in comfort in our enclosed Fish Cleaning Hut, equipped with electricity, running water and deep freezer, all free of charge
We sell Fishing Licenses at the store, which also carries bait.

We also have a Weekly Resort Fishing Contest for kids and adults with prizes for the largest fish brought in, measured and released that week.

We have a wonderful lake site siting room that offers WI-FI connection and TV.
  • The on premises Store carries a small line of necessities, sportswear, ice, pop, dairy products, bait, penny candy and Ice Cream
  • Sports equipment is kept at the store and is free to use for our guests
  • Gas up at our gas pumps.
